Whole Foods and most natural foods stores carry soy ice cream. My favorite is Purely Decadent -- it's like Ben & Jerry's for vegans! Woo-hoo! There's also So Delicious by the same company, which comes in quart containers.

Any popular health food store should carry it in the freezer section. Also try specialty food stores. If u are a vegan try tofu cheese and rice milk from the health food store.

Tofutti ice cream is great! You can go to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods or Sunflower Market. Some Albertson's carry them as well.

Soy (or Tofu) ice cream tastes really good but can have a lot of sugar.

The politically correct name for it is Soy Frozen Dessert.
They have Soy Delicious brand ice cream at Stop & Shop... About 3 and change for each container, but... it's definitely worth it :D
(I like Chocolate Velvet! Tastes just like frozen brownie mix :D )

Eeew! Tofu really has no flavor, so what would be good about it? I'm allergic to lactose, so I buy soy ice cream that tastes just like regular ice cream and you can buy a variety of flavors. Maybe you mixed soy ice cream up with "tofu" ice cream. One of the soy brands makes "toffuti cuties". But, it's not tofu.

I shop at Kroger, which has an organic and vegetarian foods freezer. Tofutti is the brand they carry. If your area has Wild Oats or Whole Foods, they are sure to have it.
