1 John 2:27 (Ambassadors or Envoys?) "And as for YOU, the anointing that YOU received from him remains in YOU, and YOU do not need anyone to be teaching YOU; but, as the anointing from him is teaching YOU about all things, and is true and is no lie, and just as it has taught YOU, remain in union with him." (And how do we come to know which we are in fact?)

Achtung_heiss's is always good for great details but the greater number have little idea what they even are talking about. Witnesses are good for looking deeper into things and on this subject here, we can tell the Witnesses from the others. Achtung_heiss's and other Witnesses give details about God's plan for peace on link below: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ak4lEvvWvMMsN6HPQdMuPBzsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070925055140AA62VCJ

Read what others who do have a clue said and know not ALL are without knowledge of Jehovah's will. Those who are looking for truth can find it if they look in the right place by the way of the faithful slave talked about at Matthew 24:45-47. They would be putting the right spiritual food out at the right time for it. And so since Jehovah's Witnesses are clearly the only ones who understand 1 John 2:27 and other ones like that, if you WANT to know Bible truth, you know now where the right table for spiritual true food can be found now! You do not need to stay clueless like this one person is, "No, they don't have a clue either." And he has as much right not to stay clueless too! Have Jehovah's Witnesses come clue you in on the real life yet ahead of us. The Bible talks about the Devil having a table too and that is where clueless food comes from. And from what I see below, the greater number eat from that table! What else can I say but the truth of that fact! Ask them in next time! OK?

Be careful if you're thinking about becoming a Jehovah's witness. I have done extensive research into this group. The Watchtower and the Elders of the church have an overly dogmatic approach to rules. They take verses out of context and arrive at outlandish conclusions. One example of this is the well known "no blood transfusions" rule. I'm a biomedical science major, and my ex-girlfriend who was attending a JW church handed me a flier that attempted to explain this from a scientific point of view. To a layperson, it would seem to make sense, to someone whom understands the body phisiologically, it had no basis in fact. Any verse in the bible dealing with blood is simply referring to the jewish tradition of sacrifice. The verse from Leviticus they like to quote from the New Testament is followed by a verse stating not to do ingest blood (and other rules) as not to offend Jewish neighbors.
Jehovah's Witnesses infuse their followers with "us vs. them" mentalities which trump any arguments against them. There have been cases where mothers, and even babies, have died during the birth process because they refused to receive a simple blood transfusion. If you are attending a Jehovah's Witness organization and still have enough willpower to investigate them from an objective point of view, do so, and then get out of there.

LOL Only if their society allows them ; )
This is about antichrists deceiving the Christian faithful 1John 2:26,27
2:26 A third characteristic of antichirst is that they try to deceive the faithful....look also 1 Tim 4:1
2:27 Anointing: John is not denying the importance of the gifted teachers at the church, but indicates that neither those teachers nor those believers are dependent on human wisdom or the opinions of men for the truth. God's Holy Spirit guards and guides the true believer into the truth.
If God is true ( 2 Chr 15:3, Jer 10:10, 1 Thess 1:9 ) and Christ is the truth ( John 14:6 ) so is the Holy Spirit ( John 15:26, 16:13 ).
Abide in Him: In response to such deceivers, the task of the genuine believer is to "walk in the truth, " i.e. persevere in faithfulness and sound doctrine

Do you actual study human beings's comments heavily? 9th Grader reported others DO study the Bible yet do not use it to instruct. carry out slightly homework on the KJV and word the way it replaced into replaced to extra healthful doctrine like you accuse the NWT of being. The KJV isn't the interest of God both. As for what the Bible teaches, it says Jesus replaced into created, says he had a beginning. also says faith without works is useless, so being saved is not any assure. certain, non secular Christians chosen from the earth will reign with Jesus. something will be in the international, as taught interior the Bible. we do not pass door to door to make converts, we pontificate the sturdy information about Jehovah's Kingdom and what this is going to do for all mankind. you'll come across that fee at Matthew 24:14. provided that we do keep on with Jesus, we are Christians. Edit: quite? The Bible would not say Jesus replaced into created? So on your KJV what does Colossians a million:15 mean?- "who's clone of the invisible God, the firstborn of each creature:" provided that he replaced into the firstborn of each creature, meaning he replaced into created formerly something else and grew to change into Jehovah's carry close worker.

That scripture appears to be directed towards those that were anointed with God's holy spirit that had come to know God and his Son. Because of them knowing God and his Son and the teachings of God, they do not need those claiming to know them yet denying them to teach them anything. Having those as teachers will only mislead them from what they know and were taught by God's spirit and the scriptures. That is my explanation based on my discussions with JW. Hope I explained it right.
Think JW understand more of what the Bible says because they spend more time searching the Bible for answers and less time trying to please people. Maybe that is what we need to do instead being so hard on them. I asked my finance's preacher if he could explain to my finance God's viewpoint on sex before marriage. He told him some junk about needs and being human, in other words, he stated that sex before marriage is acceptable by God because we are human and have needs. Even though the Bible states at 1 Cor 6:9, 10, that fornicators, adulterers and homosexuals will not inherit God's Kingdom. The preacher wasn't thinking about what God said he was simply trying to please my finace who also claims sex is simply a part of human natural. God will get him for that. The bible clearly tells us how to identify the true religion which would be those not trying to impress people but is actually living and teaching as God's son, Jesus Christ did. After all, isn't that what a Christian is?
By the way, medical specialist are now agreeing with JW with the blood thing.

No! JW's think it was meant for them and only them, but Jeremiah said the same thing in chapter 31 verses 31 through 40. This is a new covenant with Israel.
This scripture references a persons personal relationship with God and praying with an open heart and mind. God has provided HIS children with the truth they only need to look within. Whatever you read or hear in Church only God can reveal the truth to you anyway.
I love how it says there will no longer be a need to teach, and from what I understand JWs are only allowed to read and study in the company of others. Is this scripture then really meant for you? JW?

I like the KJV (King James version) a little better-
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him"
I believe this refers to receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, which must be given by proper priesthood authority, after which you can learn and discern truth by this gift.
Concerning the proper priesthood authority, it was removed from the earth shortly after Christ died and rose again, once wickedness prevailed again... the true priesthood was not available for nearly 2000 years, until it was restored by the visitation of angels- John the baptist, and Peter James and John- see sources below

What is the justification for adding the words "union with" to the text. The Greek text certainly contains no such idea. The JW's simply deny the truth that believers are 'in Him,' and that He is 'in us.'
"This is the deceiver and the antichrist......."

THIS "ASKER" DID NOT SAY HE DID NOT KNOW THE ANSWER TO HIS QUESTION, I BELIEVE HE WAS ASKING YOU IF YOU KNEW THE ANSWER, AND AS CAN PLAINLY BE SEEN, NONE OF YOU DO. I know "Moises _ Frias" does.
Since all of God’s Word was written under inspiration, it alone contains the spirit’s teaching. Therefore, teaching that conflicts with God’s Word is not to be given any attention by Christians. As the apostle John wrote: “You do not need anyone to be teaching you; but, as the anointing from him is teaching you about all things, and is true and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, remain in union with him.” (1Jo 2:27)
Those to whom John directed these words were spirit-begotten Christians. They had come to know both Jehovah God and his Son, Christ Jesus. They were fully acquainted with God’s truth. So they did not need persons as teachers who denied the Father and the Son. Such teachers would only mislead them from what they knew to be the truth as taught by God’s spirit and plainly set forth in the Sacred Writings. For this reason Christians were not to receive apostate teachers into their homes or even to say a greeting to them. 2Jo 9-11.
