the logic can be extended to Race , colour of the skin , blue or bad blood as well. it can also be extended to caste , creed and sects. my point would be get the so called custodian of faith to come to a common forum and accept this truth in public. most of the differences leading to communal/sectorial violences will cease to exist.

A true Hindu(not the morons in RSS and VHP) and Hinduism has high and equal regard for all gods of all religions.Hindus are not prohibited by their religion from entering any religious shrine(temple, church, masjid, monasteries). The main essence of Hinduism is that if a person leads a pious life and pleases God(not necessarily in the form of prayer;even showing kindness to animals-a creation of god-is considered worship),he would go to heaven.Even if a Hindu goes to a church every week(and rarely goes to a temple),his religion doesn't say he would go to hell(like some religions do).

What IS the religion of the soul?
There is a religion of the body according to the place of birth as you also said , like : Musclim Christian, Hindu....

There is also a religion of the soul. That is before taking birth what was the religion the hindu priest?

If you look deeper to the meaning of the word ''religion'' you will see that it means actions. It actually means the actions that i perform not the name i call myself. If i call myself a Hindu, but don't eat satwic food and practice ahimsa am i really a hindu? If i call myself a Muslim, but i am not peaceful, am i really a Muslim and so on...

A soul can only perform actions through the body after birth. When it is not born a soul carryes the seeds of his actions in the form of sanskaras (personality). The eternal sanskara of any soul is that of Bliss and when the soul takes birth the original sanskaras become Peace and Happiness.

After some time the sanskaras of peace and happiness become something like peace, happiness and hindu or muslim or christian or sikh..... and after some more time the original sanskars merge and only the aquired ones remain: just jain, hindu, muslim or buddist....

So yes, according to the actions that the soul performs through the body the sanskaras (personality) change and in this way religion also changes.

Someone with the sanskaras of a hindu may be born with the bodily religion of a christian, but in this case he will always be attracted to hinduism and eventially may become a hindu again. However, even before being Hindu that one's religion was just Bliss and then Peace & Happiness.

It hapens the same with other religions.

All the roads Leeds us to the same goal says Hinduism

I will tell you a little story. You have heard the eloquent speaker who has just finished say, “Let us cease from abusing each other,” and he was very sorry that there should be always so much variance.

But I think I should tell you a story which would illustrate the cause of this variance. A frog lived in a well. It had lived there for a long time. It was born there and brought up there, and yet was a little, small frog. Of course, the evolutionists were not there then to tell us whether the frog lost its eyes or not, but, for our story’s sake, we must take it for granted that it had its eyes, and that it every day cleansed the water of all the worms and bacilli that lived in it with an energy that would do credit to our modern bacteriologists. In this way it went on and became a little sleek and fat. Well, one day another flog that lived in the sea came and fell into the well.
“Where are you form?”
“I am from the sea.”
“The sea! How big is that? Is it as big as my well?” and he took a leap from one side of the well to the other.
“My friend,” said the frog of the sea, “how do you compare the sea with your little well?”
Then the frog took another leap and asked, “Is your sea so big?”
“What nonsense you speak, to compare the sea with your well!”
“Well, then,” said the frog of the well, “nothing can be bigger than my well; there can be nothing bigger than this; this fellow is a liar, so turn him out.”

That has been the difficulty all the while.

I am a Hindu. I am sitting in my own little well and thinking that the whole world is my little well. The Christian sits in his little well and thinks the whole world is his well. The Mohammedan sits in his little well and thinks that is the whole world. l have to thank you of America for the great attempt you are making to break down the barriers of this little world of ours, and hope that, in the future, the Lord will help you to accomplish your purpose.

The soul has not classiication of race , religons , colour etc just like water .but you can have it in the preparation of coffee tea etc .you hav it in yor body, in thew beer and soda you drink .but water remains the same
You know hat it is because of he cuirrent of electricity that equipments and appliances work .It may be a TV , a Radio , a fan , a light etc .you do not call tehm just electricity.you call hem by he name of the equipment of applicance though it is the same electricity that works them.so, the soul might migrate to any body of any creature , animal, insect ,bird , or plant or man of any country or religion etc .depending on the nature of the karma the the man.Ths would e right only if the soul of every individualis having a septate identity.since the soul is god as jeevatma in th eman, it is part of he paramatma and has no individuality identical to the man in whose body the jeevatma was. the soul is th same for all just as the electricity is the same for all equipment .It is only the elements that is composed of he body that is recycled and the re=incarnation if for he bodily elements only. This is scientific ally also true as yu know hat the element/ matter is indestructible as much as the atma .Atma being the part of the parmatma returns to the paramatma.Say , like the air you breath. You a breathing the air in the atmosphere.you always remain connected to the atmospheric air . You cannot remain alive if yur connection to the armospheric air is severed even for a few minutes .Once yuour connection to the air is cut , you die .The air in your lung has no active connecion to the outside atmoshere and the air in the lungs remain stagnent in the lungs .The air you exhaled also nevr dies as it si matter and it might enter the lungs of other beings , human , animal, plant , insect etc . It forms part of the putside atmospher but can not be identified as that of any particular individual as yu can not identify from the drops of he rain , that a particulardrop of rain was the water of a particular well or pond or rier oe ocean. So he matter that the body is compsed of and the air we breath out all get transformed inot other beings and they do not ramin unutilised or stocked somewhere .This is our re-incarnation .Resurrection of any man is not true or a scientific possibility .
The muslim or rhe christin by my soide inhales what I or any animal around us exhaled . We ar inaliong and exhaling he air from the same reservoir .

Well, it's said that all religions lead to the same place so it's possible. Reincarnated souls live so many lives as so many different people that it would be hard to believe that the religion stays the same when almost every other aspect of their past lives differ from that of the current.

Soul never had -is not having-shall not have forever a Religion-whatever religion-Only the Premordial matter has a Somatic(Sthoola) and a Psychic(Sookshuma) body(Sareeram)- only the Psychic body creates, beleives and practises Religion. The "Creationists" can be Happy, because religion is "Created" ,NOT "Evolved"

You Get the Body of Your Choice

The living entity creates his own body by his personal desires, and the externalenergy of Lord supplies him with exact form by which he can enjoy his desires to the fullest extent. The tiger wanted to enjoy the blood of another animal; therefore, by the grace of the Lord, the material energy supplied him the body of the tiger, with facilitied for enjoying blood from another animal.
