health....
seafood? those are animals... anyone who says they eat seafood or any animal, and that they are a vegetarian is a liar... plain and simple. I'm sure I'll get the thumbs down for being this blunt... but it's the truth... if you eat animals, even if they live in water, you are not a vegetarian...

why did you become one?
I didn't like the idea of killing.

religion,health,choice??
It's a religious reason for me, sort of.

do you eat seafood?
No.

coz i think some do..
Those folks aren't really vegetarians. I wish people who do that would look up "vegetarian" in a dictionary. It's confusing, and I wish they'd stop.

I became a vegetarian because the thought of eating animals that were once alive grossed me out and made me really sad. Like, how would you feel if I came to you, ripped you away from your families, drugged you, hung you upside down by the ankels and cut your head off? You probably wouldn't like it but you would have no choice. No, I don't eat seafood beacuse they were living once too. I'm a veggie by choice. I love it!

I became one for the ethical reasons. I have eaten some seafood occasionally though, because I thought it wasn't as bad and went under the guidelines of being a veg, and I am ashamed with myself for it. I thought that the fish got to live free lives and it was up to chance as to whether or not they were caught. But then I realised that even when not farmed and solely food, they are left up on the deck to suffocate to death, so I am not going to eat any seafood at all as well. I haven't been eaten lobster or crab since I became one, though. Shoved into a tank in a jumble, pincers banded together, to be ogled at by someone who's going to have to pay a fine price yet while the creature receives nothing in return but being boiled alive. It's disgusting how humans often think everything on Earth exists here for them.

I became a vegetarian because I don't think an animals life has to end for me to eat. These animals are treated horribly their entire life and then brutally murdered just so I can have a hamburger...no thanks!
There are tons of health benefits as well..its kind of hard not to eat healthy!
No I do not eat seafood

I know some people who don't eat meat, but do eat fish and seafood sometimes say they're vegetarians when booking flights, hotels etc, to get the vegetarian menu, but they know they are not vegetarians, it's just easier. Someone who eats fish and seafood is a pescatorian.

After I turned 30, my body started having trouble digesting meat. It also was less and less pleasing to me. Then one day, I read of the McDonald's chicken head incident and thought, there's a strong argument for going vegetarian. I read "Fast Food Nation" later that year. Then one day, I was eating chicken and was utterly disgusted and decided to go vegetarian.

I started reading stuff on being veg, discovered the dairy-veal connection, read about the treatment of hens enslaved for their eggs, decided to become vegan.

So I don't eat any animal products.

If anyone who eats seafood calls themselves vegetarian, they are seriously deluded.

I became a lacto-ovo vegetarian last year for animal rights, and I don't eat any kind of meat, or seafood, or gelatin.
