NASAL IRRIGATION
I have sinus problems most of the year due to allergies. I did not believe this treatment until I tried it.
First a doctor told me about nasal irrigation and then I heard about it on tv.
The goal is to get the nasty stuff out of your nose naturally.
The mixture is warm salt water--
Nasal irrigation can be accomplished by a variety of means. In cultures where nasal irrigation is a routine daily practice, people "snuff" (inhale through the nose) the irrigant from a cupped hand. You could also purchase a small bulb syringe; these are sold in pharmacies and are usually used to aspirate mucus from the nostrils of infants, or to help irrigate wax from the ear canals (don’t use it for wax removal without talking to your doctor first!) The goal is to inhale (or squirt) the irrigant deeply enough that you thoroughly wash your nasal cavities. Once again, if a bit goes down the back of your throat don’t be concerned. This merely indicates that you have successfully lavaged the full length of your nasal cavity.
The advantage to this:
It is very inexpensive
It is very easy to do
You are not putting any drugs into your system
It clears out your nasal cavities, decreases chances of getting infections.
Try this everyday for 1 week and you definitely notice a difference.
I thought it sounded wacky, but it does work.

Sinusitis is the accumulation of fluid/phlegm in the concave surfaces of the skull called sinuses. This may happen due to allergies(to dust, pollens, etc)and the treatment is mostly symptomatic.
You can get the suggestion from a physician and if needed some OTC products, you can rely upon pseudoephedrine and ibuprofen(usually200mg)combinations.Avoid exposure to allergens(find out which one is causing allergy in you).
Practice of yoga, especially pranayama will be of great help. Also check with your physician whether you have any abnormalities in the nasal septam.

I had this problem for a very long time due to hot and humid weather conditions. However when I moved to a colder region the problem just vanished. May be you too could have a 100% cure when you shift to some other place and avoid your present surrounding conditions. Good luck!!!

The ayurvedic treatment to take is what corrects a kapha deficiency/imbalance. The tea is usually made with pepper and several other ingredients which will restore proper kapha.
Also, invest in a neti pot, and use it to clean your sinuses.
Once the kapha imbalance is corrected, you won't have any more problems with your sinuses.
