my husbands sex drive has changed dramaticly, (and I no for a fact he's not having an affair) he hasnt gone to the doctors to be told he has it, but he does have all the signs, and also his dad had it and his brother has it.

Your husbands sexual relationship might be suffering due to several possible problems.
First you need to find out if it is 1> sexual drive or 2> sexual dysfunction.
Sexual drive could be affected due to change in mood, apprehension over possible diagnosis, other stressors, relationship problems and other disease like thyroid problems.
Sexual dysfunction can happen due to difficulty in acheiving full erection or prostate infection. Diabetics can develop erectile dysfunction due to high sugar damagin the nerves that participate in erection.
Your best bet is to have a good frank talk with your husband. Convince him to get a sugar test first. Encourage him in to make necessary changes in his diets and exercise. and also to see physician for his evaluation.
There are many drugs available to treat erectile dysfunction. Viagra is the famous one.

Diabetes can have a direct affect not only on your sex drive and libedo, but it can cause ED that would prevent your husband from having firm erections that would make lovemaking possible. Diabetic medications can also have a direct effect on this.
Have him go to his Dioctor or a Urologist. Simple blood tests will show if he has a decreased level of Testosterone that could be the culprit here. It CAN be treated, but can create permanent damage if left untreated and ignored!

What type 1 or two and yes diabetes affects flow of blood my brother has adult type 2 diabetes and has decreased drive however takes viagra and does the trick, Diabetes has strong genetic precursurs so he should be checked if he is it may be controlled by diet. Good luck!

Diabetes that is uncontrolled can lead to impotence. That should be reason enough for diabetics to control their blood sugars.

I know my cousin couldn't even walk a flight of stairs right before he was diagnosed more less sex. I am not a Dr. but I would think it does. How can you have sex if you are tired all the time?
