i'm having my sweet sixteen and it's gonna be a luau, i hope i spelt that right anyway. my dad said that i can only invite 10 people which is okay, but i don't know what to do for it. of course i will have music and food, but i don't know what to do exactly. i don't want it to be too organized but i don't want it to be boring. PLEASE HELP ME!!!.

go to a party store and purchase luau themed items. You can get lays, umbrellas for your drinks, grass skirts, etc. Playing limbo is fun game to play at a luau as well.

I had a luau party already and you don't need to get all nervous. Usually at parties people don't spend a lot of time worrying about the theme.
Definitely get some grass skirts for the ladies and umbrella straws (possibly one of those tables that look like island bars) Also you should use leis (those flower necklaces) and whatever else you can find to decorate your place. The main part of a theme is to have good decorations and music. You can leave the rest of the fun things to whatever you decide them to be. They don't even have to be anything that relates to a luau.

Go to a party store. There are more choices for luau themes than any other theme available. It is hugely popular. Pick your party pattern in plates and napkins and then the fun begins. There are leis, grass skirts, table and wall decor, confetti, lights, hanging palm trees, tablecovers and matching clips, candles and more. You'll need to look at the space you are decorating and decide how much you'll need to create the look.
