No, they don't eat fish and chicken. Anything that was killed (animals) vegetarians don't eat. But you could get your protien from nuts, eggs, and tofu, etc. anyways. But I love eating meat so I can never be a vegetarian.

The term vegetarian to me means no animal flesh. NO chicken and no fish. If it had a heart I won't eat it. That's a vegetarian to me and a whole bunch of people. Now those terms like pescitarian and all that came in to play when it became like a fashion statement to be vegetarian. I've been a vegetarian for 7 years and have just now heard of these terms. Other than that you are allowed to eat anything as long as it does not contain animal flesh. Whatever you want.
If it's okay to be a vegetarian and eat fish what is the difference between a vegetarian and a meat eater?

No, chicken is considered meat. I am a vegetarian and don;t eat fish either. Some do eat fish but arn't really "true" veggies. You can really eat anything that doesn't have animal products. Alot of today's foods have hidden animal products. Like, did you know that jello and marshmallows have gelatin in them which is made from animal bones?
Good luck! Being veggie is awesome!

K, let me first say that any vegetarian who says they eat fish, ISN'T a vegetarian. They're a PESCATARIAN. Vegetarians don't eat meat from any animal. They do however eat fruits, veggies, dairy products [unless they're vegan], eggs [again, unless they're vegan], nuts, tofu, bread, etc. We're allowed to eat anything we want but we choose not to because of personal beliefs or health reasons.

Being vegetarian is extremely common once you think of roughly it and the ingredients we are able to consume are plentiful and wholesome as long as you do no longer consume Cheetos each and all the rattling time. as a exchange, make some brown rice and upload some soy sauce. Brown rice could flavor extraordinary in the commencing up yet you get used to it and you'll be able to even like it after a whilst. many people who do unlike vegetables, in basic terms do in basic terms no longer know a thank you to prepare them nicely. try steaming some vegetables and including non-hydrogenated margarine, pepper, and herbs. i theory I hated onions until I sauteed them with minced garlic in olive oil and now they seem to be a blessing. Dairy products are very nearly worse for you than meat so stay far flung from them. consume apples, bananas, nuts, canned beans, rice, potatoes, guacamole and tortilla chips, pasta, finished grain breads, quinoa, PB&Js, marinated tofu, celery with peanut butter, bell peppers dipped on your renowned salad dressing, and so on.

No, vegetarians do not eat anything in which animals were killed for. You can try grains, dairy (exclude if you want to go vegan), legumes, nuts, and drink plenty of water. Make sure you are getting a variety of foods for a balanced diet.

I eat vegetarian versions of mexican food, chinese food, Italian food and more. Last night I had tomato, onion and garlic risotto and I threw some quorn chunks in. The other night I had angel hair pasta with a chunky pasta sauce. The night before I had roasted vegetable ravioli in garlic sauce.
