Who makes the packets? Is it the same brand you would find in a bottle?
Some of the packet soy sauces are the cheap stuff.
I think packaged Kikkoman is the same as Kikkoman from the bottle.

It depends on the brand you like. For me, the packets we get here in Western Canada are the same as the type of soy sauce I buy (China Lily).
I don't like the other kinds, like Kikoman (sp?) which is fermented.

I have never had the equivalent of the brand I use at home in a packet form. However, I do agree that what I get in packet form has never been as good as the bottle brand I use at home...

i actually like the packets better, especially the carry out brand,
i dont care for the bottle as much, but it depends on the brand for both the packets and the brand

its different brands. That's probably it. I tried two different soy sauces, one I liked, but the other one made me a little sick.

Wat no i personly think the packet one taste way better unless the soy sauce u eat has msg in it. I always eat non msg soy sauce
