Some vitamins have colouring agents in them which can cause 'it' to change colour.
For example Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) can cause a normal color change in 'it', causing it to be yellow or orange.
If the vitamins you are taking are only white then this could possibly be an infection causing the colour change so a trip to the Doctor's would be recommended.

Sort of, but it's not likely to be harmful unless you are overdosing on fat soluable vitamins.
C and the B vitamins are water soluable and will be excreted in the urine if you take more than your body needs.
Fat soluable vitamins like A, D and K can be toxic if you take too much. E is a fat soluable vitamin too, but there is no evidence of it's toxicity.
The body produces it's own vitamin D; all you have to do is have sunshine get on your skin; unless you have a Parathyroid gland problem.
Most people manufacture adequate B12 in their colons unless they have a metabolic disorder called Pernicious Anemia.
I think it's better to get vitamins from the food you eat unless you don't eat a balanced diet.

Makes what dark??? Once again..this is not a question about vegetarianism. I don't take vitamins..I make sure I eat a well balanced diet but I do know that the body gets rid of extra that it does not need. Nobody needs 500% of anything.

I dont know as I dont have the need to take vitamin suppliments. Why? Because I have a good, balanced healthy diet incorporating meat, fruit, veg and everything else I might need. Getting the nutrients I need isnt something I have to think about, its something that happens automatically when you have a good normal diet

Your body only takes in the vitamins that it needs and the left overs get flushed out. Aso, vitamins are water souluble which means they need water to be absorbed in your body. Most people do not drink enough water to lower the concentration of the vitamins so most of what is in them gets flushed out anyways before it gets a chance to get absorbed. It should be coming out a bright yellow not dark. If it comes out dark you need to hydrate your body more. Limit your caffiene and sugar intake and replace it with electrolytes and water. If you wake up every morning dehydrated you may suffer from chronic dyhydration like me which means your body naturally dehydrates faster than normal. My doctor says one out of ten people suffer from it and most do not even know.

Hopefully the urine co;our could mean an incurable kidney disease ( chance would be a fine thing !!)

it's mostly the iron. meaning you probably don't need the iron. (in the stool)
vitamin c will turn your urine a weird iridescent green...
most times we really don't need the extra minerals and vitamins... if you eat right.. it'll just come back out as waste.

If urine is dark, it is a sign that you are not drinking enough water. The closer to clear, the better. Vitamins don't make any difference in my experience
