When I first became a Vegan I went to the health food store nearest me and asked the nutritionist there what vitamins I should take. She knew right away and handed me a bottle that actually said "Vegan" on it.

After two weeks I had an extreme headache and stopped taking the vitamins. A month later I tried again and very soon after the headache came back.

In my opinion I found that I was eating very healthy and great food choices that I didn't need to take vitamins at all. I was was already getting enough vitamins from what I was eating, not swallowing a pill.

You shouldn't have to take a vitamin unless you know you're not eating well enough and don't have the capacity to right now, or you have some kind of illness that prevents you from getting all the nutrients necessary.

If you do want to though, any type of health food store and places like Whole Foods should stock them.

Pills? Do you mean vitamins? Places like Whole Foods have vegetarian vitamins but if you are eating a balanced diet, you dont need them. You can find the price and directions on the bottle.

UGGs are very high priced, i could by using between the competing manufacturers that make comparable boots that sell for a million/3 or a million/2 of the fee. That way you should purchase 3 pairs of running shoes quite of in basic terms a million, that supply you an hazard to look unique on a daily basis!

As long as you have a healthy, balanced diet, you should be fine and you shouldn't need pills.
Personally, I take a multi-vitamin just because...and I took it before I became a veggie.
As far as the vegetarian pills are concerned, visit a local health food store. They will be able to tell you which pills are suitable for us and which ones are not.
Cheers.

Lots of questions but the first one you need an answer to is "Do i HAVE to take it?"

The answer is no.

So it doesn't matter about the other questions.

Just get a decent balance of veggies, fruit, nuts etc and veggie or vegan diets are fine without supplements.

I've done fine on a veggie diet for 27 years.

If you really do feel the need to take one-a-day, most supermarkets have a multivitamin thats labelled up as "suitable for vegetarians"

GNC has vegetarian multi-vitamins. I bought them on base so I got a military discount plus my gold card membership and it was only about $15 for 90 pills. It says to take one daily but I only take them if I'm sick. I don't like taking pills unless I feel I need them and when you are sick your body works overtime and needs extra nutrients.
