You need to properly reference the study, article title, author, journal it was published in, date published. We need to be able to independently evaluate and judge the data, then decide if it applies to our situation or not.

I believe that you have misread the studies. There was a time when myself and physicians in general regarded eggs as something to be avoided by those with lipid (cholesterol) disorders. Over time it became clear that we had miscalculated the amount of cholesterol in eggs. We had thought that 1 or 2 eggs a week was the maximum allowed although at present it looks as if 1 or 2 a day is OK - as long as your lipid profile is monitored and remains normal.

The diet im currently on, they state for a woman to keep good cholesterol levels, that women should only have 6 egg yolks a week. (For men, 9), after that 6, stick to something like 'egg beaters' it really tastes the same, without the cholesterol worries. That or go to simply egg whites after having your share for the week :)
