i have this big red hurtful bump on the side of my mouth and this is the first time its so gross. i popped it and there was this white stuff maybe puss that came out and im really scared that i might have herpes??? is it herpes?

check with a doctor asap while u still have the sore and he will be able to tell u alot more than somebody who has never it can tell you.

Sounds more like a pimple to me, since you reported white stuff, which sounds like "pus" coming out of it. Cold sores and herpes are the same thing. The only way you can find out for certain if you have it is to go to the doc and ask for a herpes test. They'll draw some blood and check it specifically for antibodies to herpes simplex 1 and 2.

it could be herpes simplex two or just a cold sore. If you still keep hurting after a week or so go have it checked if it just a cold sore it will probably be gone by then

I'm sorry this is happening to you, I would consult a doctor asap who could help you out! A doctor would be able to diagnose this medical mystery. Are you sure it is not a canker sore? If you were mixing fluids with someone, did you make sure that they were free of any diseases? Not everyone who has a std will tell you upfront, either because they are jack!@!@!@ or because they don't know. You can get it by giving oral pleasure to someone.

what you have is probably a cold sore, herpes comes as an outbreak, not just 1 or 2.
