Syphilis.

Sometimes syphilis sores or lesions (called chancre) can be confused with herpes sores.

Syphilis can be cured with antibiotics because it's a bacterial STD. Herpes is a virus and there are no cures for viruses. The herpes outbreaks can be treated with anti viral medication, but the virus never goes away and remains dormant inside the body.

You don't need to have sex with a lot of people to contract a STD. I contracted genital herpes from the 2nd person I had EVER had sex with. If you are concerned you have herpes or any other STD, go to your doctor and get tested. Good luck!

I don't the answer to this but, if I were you I'd go to the doctor and get tested if you think you might have been exposed to an STD. Most can be taken by a simple blood test. If you go get tested, make sure to ask the doctor to test for both type 1 and type 2 herpes. If you don't ask, they generally do not include herpes in a simple STD test. You should get results back in about a week. Mine came back in 6 days.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about three years ago, whilst I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I know a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/uuTT6 everything changed.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.
