I am having some chest pain and get dizzy, so I am going to see a cardiologist. But I wonder whether it is possible to get a heart attack in such a age. I am female.

I am not be in the best shape but I am not overweight. I was told by a practitioner a few years ago that I might have a minor heart condition but I never got around seeing a cardiologist thinking it's just minor.

I think it's very likely that I am having this due to the contraceptive patch Ortho Evra that I have been wearing. I did some research and found that it's been increasingly causing blood clot, heart issues and other for women. Does anyone have experience with Ortho Evra?

That patch may be the cause, so until your cardiologist is the best judge.
Dizzy spells have been noted in patients with patch, due to release of hormones in the blood, these symptoms disappear once the patch is removed.
I think you will not have much of a problem, so relax, OK.

Highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened. If you suspect that there is even a remote POSSIBILITY that you are having a heart attack, you need to get off the computer, and call 911.

Yes it is possible, but unlikely. Your smart to see a cardiologist and find out what the problem is.

unlikely, but yes, even for females. whether overweight or not, you may be at high risk. this occurs when you have high choleseterol and high blood pressure. although i dont think that your symptoms are necesarily indicative of a heart attack, its good that you're gonna see a doctor.

you're still young. theres still a lot you can do. =)

Very unlikely and it could be anxiety or panic attack, but better be safe than sorry.

I'm afraid it is sweetheart, but it's probably either stress or anxiety. Good Luck on your appointment!!!!
