For about the past week and a half it seems like my heart is beating really fast. There are times of the day when it is really evident and then other times where I can only tell if I think about it.
It is worse at night right when I lie down to go to sleep.
I am pretty sure I don't intake too much caffiene because I don't drink coffee or soda.
I am only 20 and unsure what this is. I am also taking medication for hypothyroidism. Any ideas?

You will have to consult your endocrinologist+cardiologist, BUT these symptoms do arise during menstrual cycle as well in females.

Sinoatrial tachycardia is not at all rare at your age. It requires immediate attention and probably a change in your medications.

See your health care professional right away. Like TOMORROW.

See your doctor. Thyroid hormone increases metabolism and if you are taking more than you need it can increase heart rate.
