The fastest way to cure the hiccups is just breathing, since they are caused by a lack of oxygen in the brain. That is why some people hiccup after eating - they eat too fast and don't have time to breathe.

I usually just have as many hiccups as I can & then I drink water. It works every single time. I get the hiccups every time I finish eating something/anything

Just try and wait for the hiccups, so then when if come you would try to do it as LOUD as you can. Then, for some reason they never come, because you are waiting for them. This really works! Try it!

You need to massage above your eyebrows. It relaxes the reflex that causes the hiccups. Trust me it works.

This is a no-fail virtually instant remedy...A glass of warm water with 1/2 Tablespoon of Baking soda. Mix well, drink fast! Not recommended for people with ulcers or high blood pressure.
