Is BOCA brand a brand a vegetarian should trust?

I really love Boca, but their stuff looks suspiciously similar to real meat!!

Yes, it is fine. They are great, and a good company. Now, as far as Morningstar, depending on if you are Vegan or not, some of their products contain eggs.

Yes, Boca is a good brand, but Morningstar is better I think. They taste good - really really good. Looking at the picture on the box, I wasn't sure if it was really a vegetarian product, but when you read the ingredients it will tell you what is in it. Just make sure to read the box and do your research. Have fun!

Boca makes good products, but, and I don't know if this is influential to you or not, but Philip Morris owns Boca. You know, the cigarette people. They own TONS of brands. Unfortunately, I really like Boca, and I still have a couple boxes of bulk vegan burgers ... of course I won't waste them. But I don't know if I'll buy from them again.

I prefer Gardenburger. Morningstar too often has eggs and dairy in their products; the only thing I ate of theirs were the buffalo wings and we'll just say my stomach said a BIG NO NO to those!

I don't personally eat "mock meats," but my boyfriend, who was once an avid fan of meat, has the vegan original Boca burgers and can't believe how real they taste. He put a piece in my mouth and I spit it out immediately. We were both wondering if they were lying, too.

But, in the end, it seems to me it would be illegal to do so because some people have major allergies. . .

I think you can trust them but I prefer Amy's myself, plus Amy's are less chemically than boca but I have a friend who prefers boca and says that Amy's taste too much like vegetables. I think boca burgers taste like sponge. It's just whatever you like best.

Yes you can trust them! I really like them too. Another really good veggy burger is Morningstar Mushroom Burger. Man! These taste just like a burger and I love them. So flavorful and filling! They don't have that mushroom earthy taste. I don't know how they do it but I think they are better then Boca.

Some Boca burgers are vegan, others have egg whites. If you don't want to eat eggs, check the label.

I like MorningStar brand better than Boca.
Last night My husband and I were having Morningstar veggie burgers. I looked at him and laughed. I said there is something funny about putting lettuce and tomato on a veggie burger.

you can trust it. i'm a vegetarian & i use it. ((the first time i saw it i thought i accidently bought the wrong box or something, but it says meatless and if you read the ingredients theres no sign of meat))

Its a good thing that its similar to meat- less un-farmiliar! But it is completly meat free, so you can defenitely trust it!
