It doesn't sound like genital herpes.
You should visit your doctor and have them take a look at you. They are the ones that will be able to properly diagnose you and offer/provide treatment.
It might just be something like a rash from heat or even your clothing rubbing against your skin.
Good luck!

Sounds more like contact dermatitis or allergic dermatitis, but it COULD be Herpes. Symptoms for Herpes vary enormously from person to person, from no symptoms ever, to outbreaks that involve bleeding lesions, and everything in between. Sometimes just a burning or itching sensation and nothng else, sometimes a little rash but no lesions, etc. It depends on your individual immune system as to how one would react. For peace of mind get a Herpes-II antibody blood test (HerpeSelect test), and see a dermatologist to cover the other possibilities.

No i guess! but u certainly need to see a doctor the next time it comes up again. i have had similar experiences in the past which turned out to be heat rash! U wouldn't want to have herpes lol. Also herpes is very unlikely to be at ur thigh unless u has a some one with herpes blisters on contact with ur thigh most likely orally........but I really doubt.......go check it out.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 5 years ago, when I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I understand loads of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/ZVdkP everything improved.
Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Sounds like it could be.
Herpes tends to like moist or damp places but can happen on the upper thighs close to your groin
It tends to be itchy and sore, smal blisters usually can be seen. The area does scab and often leaves a red mark for a long time where it has been.
Get it checked out anyhow next time it pops up so you can get some antiviral tablets/ointment to take to lessen it.
It might be something like a fungal infection (jock itch) but these tend not to scab up.

No. Genital herpes is not on your thighs.
When you get it, you need to go to the doctor so they can tell you what it is, treat it correctly and tell you how to prevent it from happening again.

Sounds like jock itch to me. Get some anti-fungal cream from your nearest pharmacy.
