You should always read ingredients, even if the label claims the product is "organic."

You can never be 100% sure of "organic" standards unless you grow the food yourself, but its usually better than the alternatives...except for "organic" animal products. The "organic" label of animal products are just marketing ploys. In terms of beauty products, the less chemicals & more natural, organic ingredients the better.
