I do! The better the veggies on it, the more flavor. Cheese tends to over empower the veggies' flavor and that's not cool! And the fact that some people say that pizza without cheese isn't pizza, don't know much on the subject! Pizza in Italy didn't start off with cheese on it. It was added later and not all the time!

Yes, but there are only two or three restaurant pizzas I think are worth it, especially since they all use white crust. We used to order pizza from Little Caesar's as they offer a medium size cheese pizza for $5. I would ask for my half without cheese and to substitute mushrooms. The mushrooms, the three or four times we did it were sparse. I was essentially eating tomato sauce on white bread.

For the most part, my husband now makes pizza at home. He'll start with a crust mix from the grocery and then add whole wheat flour to make it thicker. (We haven't taken the time yet to play with making our own fully home made whole wheat crust.) He'll add cheese to his side and I'll smother my side with mushrooms. (Organic now, because I found them at my grocery for the same price as the non-organic store brand.)

I agree with the person above me-- Some places do add an extra veggie for no cost. There is a yummy mom-and-pop Italian restaurant near where my grandparents live. We went there recetly while visiting family on vacation. I asked the waitress if I could get two toppings for the same price if I didn't get cheese. She had never received that request before and had to ask the manager. I got it.

It's just as easy for me to boil some whole wheat pasta mix in some sauce and mushrooms and add some steamed veggies on the side and call it a meal. The same very essetial ingredients, but cheaper and more nutritious.

Yeah, my dad orders it from Pizza Hut--veggie lovers, no cheese, though Mom says it's a complete waste of money because the cheese is the main part and we get ripped off when we use no cheese.

Sometimes, I do but it doesn't taste right without the cheese. I like cheese, a lot. So I usually melt some soy cheese onto the pizza and it tastes great.

Yes I do, it's really good that way if you get a good pizza (not pizza hut). I usually sprinkle some soymage parmesan topping on it. My favorite is orange and red peppers, pineapple and avocado.

@rottincherrie: some pizza places will substitute an extra topping for the cheese if you ask, so you could get extra veggies or pineapple or something.
