yes my boyfriend and I decided to become vegetarians like 3 months ago. WE LOVE IT, I HAVE LOST 15 lbs, and he has LOST 32 lbs.

We decided this lifestyle becaue we researched the animal abuse, the over processed meats that are injected with un natural chemicals and for our HEALTH. I want to live a healthy life style, so i dont have go to under unneccesary prescriptions to rely on by the time i am 50.

So far we have ALOT more energy, higher sex drive, and my hair has became more healtheir. so its been a GREAT positive in our lives!!!

I am a vegan (have been for almost a year, I was a vegetarian for two years before that) because I never really enjoyed eating meat, I would start imagining what I was eating, and all the suffering that the poor animals went through, and that was just really depressing!
Also, when I went vegan, I was faster (I am on the Track team at school), I lost over 10 lbs., and my face really cleared up. Also, my choir instructor said she could really see an improvement in the clarity of my voice since I cut the dairy and eggs out. Before when I was eating meat, I was sick all the time, and I had been missing a ton of school! And since I stopped, I got sick way less and I didn't have the inclination to sleep all the time! Over all I just feel much better, and I am healthier. Also I am helping the planet, by not supporting the cruelty to animals by eating meat or animal products!

Vegan by choice, vegetarian by necessity.
If i have a choice I am vegan. I don't eat any meat/meat by products. But out of necessity I do go vegetarian. I will eat my mother's vegetables in butter. It is difficult to go vegan all the way b/c I still have children that eat meat and the rest of my family still scratches their head over the vegan thing. But when I cook or cook for others its vegan all the way.
I am doing this purely for health reasons. My boyfriend has heart disease and is doing the Ornish diet and it's basically vegan. I feel great after only a week.

Yes. I became vegetarian 20 years ago because of concern for animals & respect for all life. I avoid eggs except for the occasional cake or donut (my own baked goods are vegan) & don't use much dairy but am still only an aspiring vegan. Although my original reason is animal welfare, there are so many other reasons for not consuming carcasses, such as enhanced health & less environmental impact.

Yes, I'm a vegetarian.
I'm a veg for many reasons. First reason is the cruelty in the slaughtering and farming industries. Those poor animals!
Second reason is health. My family history has instances of many horrible ailments that are worsened by the consumption of meat and animal products. I like my life and would like to live past 65, thank you. Third reason is also health - this time less to do with my family history and more to do with me. I have more energy, I'm more regular, I sleep better, I'm much happier without meat and animal byproducts in my diet.

Yes I am. I found many good reasons to become a vegetarian, and couldn't find any good reason not to. I know that it's all about personal points of view so I'm not going to try and convince anyone that this is the best option, but in my mind it is. ;-)

I am a vegetarian and have been for some time now. I love it, because number one, I don't enjoy eating roast beef or steaks and hamburgers, and more than that, I am healthier, have more energy, I sleep better, have a higher sex drive, I think more clearly, and overall, my memory is better.

I don't like the taste of meat, therefore i don't eat it.

Vegetarianism is fun, plus it's a good feeling to see a cow in a field and know it's not going to die becuase of you.
