will people be moving back to the north or have a much reduced population because there isn't enough water and other resources like oil to be able to grow so much food as it is?

Quite a few years back, they were trying to work on the idea of running a pipeline from the Columbia River to southern Calif. Came up against mega-opposition. Guess if they run out of water (or power) they will have to figure it out for themselves. Do you realize what could happen if something happened to Hoover Dam? Ouch!! Glad I'm not living down there!!
Actually, I think the only viable solution would be desalinization.

I heard some Democrats supporting building Nuclear powerplants all over the world to run desalination plants, to handle the worlds over population, and changes in the weather patterns . OH boy.

By the way, these Democrats are not allign with Gore.

As long as people can afford to buy the things they need to enjoy life, they'll live just about anywhere they want. New science and government aid will always come to the rescue. Agriculture may diminish, but people will find some good reason to live almost anywhere.

The water isn't going anywhere. It's the water cycle. Unless you take it off the planet or rearrange the molecules, water is indefinite.

I hope there will be an easier way to convert sea water into drinking water, other-wise human beings will start wars over water.

No, they'll get outraged at the politicians in Washington for not doing something to make it rain more in the desert.

look there is a thing called a salt water tretment plant , look i live in miami so trust me water is the last thing we have to think about its the air we need to think of , theres a sayen never let your left hand know what your right hands going . so dont look there look here.............................................
