These items don't need to be elaborate, but I don't want to purchase anything noisy they will be used at an informal wedding reception.

The ones that are for sale in the stores now are all rather cheap and won't service a wedding reception. You will have to have someone constantly monitoring them, so they don't run out. Either rent a professional one, or it's best not even to do this. For the purchase amount of these items, and a few dollars more, you can rent the proper thing. What do you plan to do with these machines when you are finished?
