Perspiration alone is not conclusive symptom of heart attack, if it is accompanied with chest pain or discomfort in chest, restlessness or pain radiating from chest to left arm or shortness of breath, chest pain aggravated on inspiration; it is a warning sign to report to nearest ER or call help line.
Normally in hot weather one can perspire too much, OK.

No. However, when individuals have heart attacks (or other similar heart conditions), their skin will often become cool and clammy, but this is because they are going into cardiogenic shock because the heart isn't pumping blood properly and body tissues aren't getting the blood they need.
Perspiring is completely independent of heart disease. However, it is not independent of physical effort. Most often individuals can have no symptoms prior to their first coronary event. The biggest warning signsof heart disease are more having to due with an individual's lifestyle; high blood pressure, age, gender, smoking and lack of exercise and stress are most predictive of future coronary events.

I am 30. I have been complaining of heart issues for about 6 months. I wound up in the ER twice for excessive sweating, nausea and heart palputations and chest pain. I have been now diagnosed with heart disease. Come to find out a couple of my many symptoms had no relation to the heart disease but once the doctors ruled out a heart attack, they focused on heart disease. May want to get it checked by a different doctors. Everyones body is different. Make sure you keep track of all your symptoms and when they tend to occur. It is helpful for diagnostic purposes.
