It is NOT healthy but you will NOT have Leftovers: Snicker Salad

4 or 5 Large Tart apples (we use granny smith)
2 Jumbo Snickers Bars
1 Big Tub Cool Whip (largest size)

Peel, core, and thinly slice apples into sticks (like skinny French Fries)
Chop up Snickers bars
Mix everything together.
YUMMY!!!!!!

Kids love pasta salad and try a fruit salad. The other entries have great ideas but I would not serve any of their suggestions with any type of nuts. There are so many kids that have nut allergies that just having them in any of the dishes can set them off. Some don't even have to eat it.

Pasta salad-vermicelli noodles, Italian dressing, tomatoes, cucumbers and parmesan cheese.

You can even try sliced apples with caramel dip. They love that.

For the kids to eat? Either a fruit salad or a mix your own - you provide the cut up veggies and let the kids pick what they want on it - like a salad bar - and give a couple of options for dressings - like ranch, italian, etc.

Since you didn't say what else would be served, I'd suggest a fruit salad. All kids love fruit. Mix banannas, strawberries, apple chunks, coconut, pineapple chunks. Then add either plain yogurt or vanilla yogurt. If you think the kids would like nuts add pecan pieces. Very good for a kids or adult party.

I would suggest a fruit salad-- VERY healthy and deliscious. If you REALLY want to be a hit with the kids, make a Jell-o/fruit salad. You can get the recipes right on the back of the jell-o boxes.

I would suggest a salad that has fruit in it. I always loved fruit when I was little. Put some pineapple and stuff in there than kids don't eat every day.
