Because I have had a glamorous life and done many things.. things other people only dream about.. There is always conversation around me and I know so many interesting people..
I am the fly paper - they are the flies.

I'd most certainly get invited because folks would know that I was trustworthy with their very high profile secrets, that I'm down to earth and "normal", unlike most of their high maintenance friends, that I can adapt to most situations, feel perfectly at home in a gown and heels as well as in my jeans and birkenstocks, that they can walk into my home and know that they are going to get something wonderful to eat, have a place to rest and relax, put their feet up and enjoy a great glass of wine, that I will treat them with dignity and respect, hold their confidences, and keep their hearts and all the things that are a part of that, next to my own for safe keeping!

Na. I don't think I will. This may sound a bit harsh, but - it reminds me of one of those gossip magazines. ( I tend to call them ' The White Trash Funnies. '
If anybody ' famous ' invited me anywhere I'd have to know the person was straight, legitimate, and would probably be on a business footing knowing in advance that's how I am.
Fame is overrated.
