Talk to the manager of the resteraunt. When I had beef on a vegi pizza I was very upset. The manager appologised profusly and gave me my meal free and dessert.

In 14 years as a vegetarian/vegan I have only eaten meat twice accidently and it was a piece of chicken (I think it was chicken?) in a 7 Layer burrito at Taco Bell both times.
I was in the car - getting the burrito in the drive-thru and eating it while I drove. It was not a pretty sight figuring out what I was eating and then spitting it into a napkin...
Since then I don't really eat there very often and when I do I always pull it all apart to make sure it is meat-free.
Actually I don't really like going anywhere that serves meat - I prefer to eat at home and then I know there is no chance of eating something I do not want.
Sorry that happened to you!
Maybe try Chipolte or Moe's since you watch them make your burrito right in front of you! (plus they are yummy and big enough to make two meals )

Maybe it just got in there by some meat pieces being dropped in the bean dip. This has happened to me before with the regular bean burrito. It happens at eateries. If it gets to busy or the workers are careless anything can happen. It's kind of gross to think about other people making your food and what could happen to it a lot worse stuff then just meat unwashed hands, dirt, pesticides etc....and just plain germs. Sorry I am a confirmed germaphobe. Ok well maybe you could take some charcoal or drink chammomile tea or broth for the sickness caused to settle your stomach. Take a laxative to get rid of it fast or make yourself throw up after finding out that your food was contaminated so that you will not get sick and miss work next time. Sorry, but this does happen and I hope you feel better soon.

I'm really trying not to eat at fast food anymore..or even restaurants for that matter.
I had 2 incidents at taco bell. Once i ordered a taco no meat.. i looked in and what could tell no meat. I bit into it.. I could taste a little meat. It was so sick. I opened it up and sure enough, little bits of meat under my lettuce. it seems like they did it on purpose. obviously.
2nd time there was a little bit of meat in my gaucomole.
Your best bet is making your own food, unfortunately.

I think that perhaps on your day off you should go up there and personally have a polite discussion with the manager. If that doesn't work, call the corporate headquarters. Personally, I haven't had this problem, perhaps because I order some things that are already vegetarian, such as tostadas and bean burritos. However, since you're a paying customer, they should do their job right, so contact them!

this has happend to me a lot of times! at Taco Bell they some how put beef in my 7 layer. At mazzio's i found a peice of pepperoni under my cheese. At Burger King i would find a chicken nugget with my onion rings. I just tell the workers they put meat in my food and they will apologize and re-make me another one. remember, stuff always happens and always forgive.

If you are a vegetarian for animal rights-related reasons, don't eat at Taco Bell. They are owned by Yum! Foods, the same company that owns Pizza Hut and KFC, which has repeatedly refused to adopt any reasonable animal welfare standards [not to mention their labor issues].
