I am with a girl for 2 months, and had unprotected sex until now. During this I had some symptoms like STD (slight fever, headache, body aches, and some dots on my genital, which the doctor said .. yeast infection. its gone now) and started freaking out. And we both got tested for oral HIV test and both were negative.
Everything went smooth. But still some where in my mind, I have a doubt that, what if she was positive and she just told me that she was negative (As i dint see her results).

or

what if she dint get tested at ll and just told me that she was negative

Do u think i am crazy for not believing her? or should i ask her to show the proof of the test, which might strain the relationship

She is educated, has a fulltime job and we see each other everyday and she is faithful to me (she does not sleep around)

if your instincts are telling you that she might not be telling the truth...or you just have a funny feeling and you need to ease your mind and really know everything she says is true; i would ask her to see the results. it might strain the relationship...she might not think you trust her. BUT ITS YOUR BODY..YOUR HEALTH! i would if i were you!!!

If you have doubts you should definitely approach this situation. Ask her to see her results, if you don't feel comfortable asking her up front, maybe you should come up with a unique way to find the results or get her to show the results. You also could get retested, but the only problem is that there is a window period, where it takes your body 3 to 6 months to produce the antibodies. So if your in doubt use a condom...

Good Luck

Personally, I believe your life is valuable and you should sit down and have a talk with her about her showing her results. Explain that it is just to be on the safe side making sure. Explain that tou don't mean to be rude...you just want to make sure that your free of anything. If she refuses you would know why...and if anything get tested again in a few weeks/months to make sure it was not too soon for you to be tested. GOOD LUCK!

Sound slike you may have hypochondria, or the constant fear of something medically going wrong with you, even though every test under the sun will not convince you otherwise.

Read into hypochondria a bit, and see if you may need to go see a psychiatrist. This can lead to things like anxiety attacks, panicking, and depression. It can get more serious, but rarely.

Yes You must absolutely see the test. Hiv can get anyone It is not prejudice. I am not saying don't trust her. You have only known her two months that is not enough time to totally trust anyone.I had a friend for five years and she lied to me.Good luck. And don't feel bad taken care of yourself. That's important and she should admire you for that. Stay healthy.

I believe your gut is telling you something. You don't need to worry about putting a strain on the relationship. She needs to be straight with you no matter what. You are in a relationship and a relationship requires two people who are committed to each other in every way. That also requires each person to be honest with each other in all circumstances.

Well, if your own result was negative, I guess you can believe her. Wait six months and repeat the test should any doubt persist.
