it's not on the genital area that's why I don't think it's herpes... it's on my back

Sorry...I'm not looking at the picture because I don't click on links and I don't want to see someones genital area (or whatever the picture is).
I don't know what bed bug bites look like, but if you want to know what herpes looks like just do an image search using a search engine like Yahoo or Google.
Genital herpes are large, red, swollen, blister like sores. They can open and puss and then scab over. They are also extremely painful. It can take weeks to heal a herpes outbreak and there is no cure.
Also, herpes can appear anywhere on the body, even on the fingers and eyes (ocular herpes). Genital herpes refers to the genital area, while cold sores refer to the lips and mouth area.

Both cold sores and genital herpes are herpes just on different spots of the body. If you have a cold sore which is Herpes type 1 (oral) and you are blowing a guy, or eating a girl (not sure which way you swing) then you are putting them at risk of catching herpes type 2 which is genital herpes. There was a doctor who while treating a patient went down on her and she contracted genital herpes because he had a cold sore on his mouth and she sued him because as a Dr. he should have known there was a risk of spreading the virus. This was in the newspaper, don't know the outcome. You're more likely to get oral herpes from performing oral sex on the infected persons sex organ then the other way around but it is possible. Play it safe.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women.
