hi,i was asking about my 9yrs son if he can cotinue playing soccer,because there are soccer players like KANU that are still playing.kanu had aortic valve stenosis .and he was operated.

He can't play soccer, as the left ventricle is overloaded and stressed out in soccer BUT his surgeon is the best judge, consult him please.

If your son was operated for AS....then NOWAY ...he mustn't play soccer. He should avoid exertion at all cost .
