Start by contacting the garbage collectors in your area. They should be able to help you find a way to have them all recycled. I'm not sure (in this day and age) how much you'll make since most people throw their newspapers in recycling anyway.

There are a lot of "free" fundraisers you can do. Visit the link below for dozens of ideas!

There are recycling stations for paper - call and find out how much you need to get paid for recycling (it is allot so be ready) then set a goal to raise a specific amount for the local children's hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Make a Wish or other group that benefits children in your community. Make a flyer that says you are trying to raise X amount for such and such charity and would like to collect News papers to do it. Ask people to save all their newsprint and keep it for you for 30days then on a set weekend have your parent/scout leader rent a uhaul and start picking up. Then on Monday drop off at the recycling station - have them write the check to the charity and drop it off. Be sure to run a free Thank you in the community services section of the paper to let everyone know how much they helped the charity and if possible have a picture of you in your Boy Scout uniform handing the check to the charity. Good Luck!

Hi. I'm new here. Just joined today. The Humane Society is always looking for donations. My family saves up our papers and takes them down there. They always need newspapers!

Contact a recycling center and ask them where you can contact someone that has a big semi-trailer that you can fill with paper, then they come and pick it up after your drive. We did this at my daughters school a long time ago. I'm not sure if they even do this any more. Good Luck!
