My vegan girlfreind and I were out for a drive and had a flat tire. When she was changing it, she hurt her back. She had only gotten one lug nut off and was already hurt. It took her forever to finish the job. Fortunatly I had a newspaper to read and some beef jerkey to nourish myself while I patiently waited for her to finish changing the tire. She seems to get hurt easily. Is she perhaps defective, or is this common place amongst vegans to get hurt so easily?

Rarely have I seen a name on Yahoo Answers that is so inappropriate.
Not for the (obviously made up) story about your girl friend and the tyre, but because you continually try to get caustic comments on to 'Answers' and 'pretend' you are really a nice guy.
Why don't you either ask sensible questions or answer others peoples' sensible questions sensibly? Or is that beyond you? Or maybe just leave 'Yahoo Answers' to the people who need to get answers and those who intend giving answers as well as they can?

So, you are vegetarian, and your girlfriend is vegan, and your niece is marrying a vegan, and all the vegans you know are frail and fragile... but you being a vegetarian (as you said in your other recent post) is so totally different that you are some kind of super healthy muscle man (i.e. not frail, not unhealthy, not weak, etc.). Maybe you should try meeting some new people, you know, people who do exercise and are fit, healthy, strong, etc. I guess you don't hang with that sort of crowd, but I assure you, that many highly athletic people are vegan, and are not anywhere near being fragile, weak, tiresome, unhealthy, etc... I don't know where you get these weird generalizations from. And that's a fake story if I ever heard one... some loser sitting there reading a paper while his girl changes the flat tire... or the fact that there was even a girl at all.

Thats in basic terms your journey i think of - in line with hazard 'dwindled, fragile and undesirable' females liek to assert they're vegan via fact they're actual anorexic and its a fashion of hiding it? In my journey working a vegetarian business enterprise for 6 years and havig been vegetarian for 21 years and then vegan for the final 10 years i could say that sounds like a stereotype. I even have met hundreds of vegans, of each age, all races, all religions, from around the globe. They lined actors, housewives, overweight beer drinkers, severe docs, little infants, previous grannies, extensive bodybuilders, tattooed bikers... and one or 2 bare footed hippies :-) There are extra lady vegans than male - yet no longer that many... i could say 60/40. i'm vegan, and you're able to by no ability think of it in case you met me... except you stayed for dinner and observed no meat in my kitchen. In my journey there are actually not any real stereotypes - if it wasn't for the certainty that those people got here to my business enterprise or got here to a veggie/vegan adventure i could by no ability recognize that they have got been veggie/vegan - they look universal - so universal its boring! . What I even have got here across is that there are some real loopy people who come to veganism via fact they desire the regulations of their existence... they experience like victims, and prefer to have a existence-sort the place they are in a position to be real and all of us else could be incorrect... they desire a pseudo-non secular code of their existence.... if that they were born one hundred years in the past they could have been shaking a tambourine for thr Temperance circulation. do no longer question me why! i do no longer in all probability even care approximately them - they supply people an somewhat undesirable impact of vegans and veganism. What i'm able to inform you is they're like a million% of greens and vegans, yet they make ninety 9% of the noise and fuss. yet with regards on your question, you in all probability see greens and vegans on a daily basis and by no ability recognize it - yet females such as you describe are actually not standard in my journey. they could no longer in all probability be vegan besides... in basic terms doing the 'i'm so diverse' ordinary that such somewhat some young ones pass with the aid of :-)

Why was she changing the tire and not you?
Anyway, to answer you question, all vegans aren't fragile. I'm a vegan and I weigh 200lbs and can change a flat tire without getting hurt, for example.

why weren't you changing the tire????
As long as you find other ways to get the protein you need in your diet there is no proof that vegans are not as healthy as people on a regular diet

Well I'm not a vegan, but I doubt it. If you make sure to get all the vitamins you need I don't see how, does she work out?

Naw...my ex wife was a meat eater like you'd never believe and she was sick/ill/injured or just feeling bad at least 80% of the time we were married (I kid you not!). Always using here injuries/sickness to go to the doc for more prescriptions for her aches and pains...yeesh...I wonder if it isn't a female thing.
