Everytime I wake up from a nap or a night of sleep, my heart is beating extremely fast, faster than after I run or excersise. I asked my doctor about it but he said nothing's wrong, and that I just have alot of stress (but this is also the guy who trys to get people out of his office as fast as he can). I can't think of anything that might do this to my heart. And it's not just after I wake up, it's also when I'm just sitting down, or doing some normal activity. I'm 16 and I never had heart problems before.

Sounds like tachycardia (rapid heart beat) and yes, you should have this checked out.

You have to keep yourself together for your twins. They still need you to be their anchor in life. Your husband is the one that is going to be the loser, he will be missing out on every day with his family because he choose to cheat. It seems as if you may have been too easy on him, and in giving him everything and requiring little even faithfulness, you allowed him to walk all over you. Use this as a learning experience and do not trust this man again. He is a user and a cheater, which is a bad combination. Please get yourself some counseling and hire a lawyer to help you through all the legalities without getting walked on. Your soon to be ex will only turn around and cheat on your ex friend also, and this pattern will never change, he is blaming his problems on whoever he is with...that is a sign of immaturity and no self esteem. Best of luck to you and your twins, this can be done; become positive and act, do not react. Take charge of yourself and your children and move forward.

GO SEE A CARDIOLOGIST! You need to check that out. It is not normal. It is called Tachycardia which means rapid heart beat and I should not be happening during times of rest especially sleep. Bypass your PCP and go directly to a Cardiologist.

Maybe try a different doctor, or even look at your family tree for past information about heart problems. If you are taking any medications look them up and see what the side-affects are.

Try and find a different doctor. It might be stress related but I'm not a doctor so find a different one even if you have to go to the emergency room.

You should go see a cardiologist. It could be tachycardia or a number of heart rhythm disorders. Or maybe it could be to much consumption of things like caffeine or sweets.
