I ate there for the first time last night, besides being generally unclean (greasy glasses, gross bathroom), I noticed two things that I didn't like:

1. They serve three "dips" with "chips" (pappadum). There were little pieces of broken chips in the dips--obviously they bring the same set of dips out for each table's use. Is this legal?

2. They serve the entrees on these little heating stands. The stands looked like they had never been cleaned--they were crusted with dried rice and sauce. Although it didn't actually touch the food, it seemed unhygienic.

Should I report them and will anything happen?

YUK!

PLEASE report them!

When an eating establishment is reported in Los Angeles, the County will come out and do an inspection. If they get rated below a D, they have to close down until the violations are fixed.

umm no. hygiene is cleanliness, not the way you smell. like, if u take showers, but use a soap that doesnt smell good, it doesnt mean ur unhygienic. second of all, just tell her, or recommend perfume of deodorant. she might just sweat a little too much. food is also a major cause for smelling differently. So maybe that's it. if ur a guy, ask a girl to ask her.

Sure, However, the best thing would bee not to return to the restaurant to eat. This will naturally sove the problem, if no body eats not $$$$$, no restaurant.

Eat at home better control of food quality!

That is disgusting, it sounds like their recycling the dip that other people didn't finish. That is a major health code violation. Definately report them.

It is really up to you. The broken chips suggest they recycle what previous clients did not eat. And the dirty dishes... well... they should be cleaned always. REPORT!
