Since you didn't say exactly what kind you were looking for I gave you the symptoms of both genital herpes and oral herpes (cold sores).
Symptoms of a primary (first) outbreak of genital herpes can include:
+ Flulike symptoms, such as fever, headache, and muscle aches. These symptoms usually get better within a week.
Tingling, burning, itching, and redness at the site where an outbreak is about to occur (prodrome).
+ Painful, itchy blisters on the penis, on the vulva, or inside the vagina. Blisters may also appear on the anus, buttocks, thighs, or scrotum, either alone or in clusters. They may be barely noticeable or as large as a coin.
+ Blisters that break and become shallow, painful, oozing sores.
+ Swollen and tender lymph nodes in the groin.
+ Painful urination.
+ Abnormal vaginal or urethral discharge.
Symptoms of cold sores can include:
+ Sore mouth that makes eating, drinking, and sleeping uncomfortable. Cold sores can be painful.
+ Fever.
+ Sore throat.
+ Swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
+ Drooling in small children.

Symptoms of herpes are called outbreaks. The first outbreak appears within 2 weeks after you become infected and can last for several weeks. These symptoms might include tingling or sores near the area where the virus has entered the body, such as on the genital or rectal area, on buttocks or thighs, or occasionally on other parts of the body where the virus has entered through broken skin. They also can occur inside the vagina and on the cervix in women, or in the urinary passage of women and men. Small red bumps appear first, develop into small blisters, and then become itchy, painful sores that might develop a crust and will heal without leaving a scar.
Sometimes, there is a crack or raw area or some redness without pain, itching, or tingling.
Other symptoms that may accompany the first (and less often future) outbreak of genital herpes are fever, headache, muscle aches, painful or difficult urination, vaginal discharge, and swollen glands in the groin area.
Often, though, people don't recognize their first or subsequent outbreaks. People who have mild or no symptoms at all may not think they are infected with herpes. They can still transmit the virus to others, however.

I got diagnosed with herpes type 2 about seven years ago, when I was still in college and had a stupid 1 night stand. I know a lot of girls will say this but I swear I never did that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and, suddenly, it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But after a friend shared this video https://tr.im/V1NMC everything changed. Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the chance to be happy, and to experience true love again. Now I want to help by sharing this with others.

I assume that you are referring to the genital area rather than herpes of the mouth and nose which are commonly called cold sores or fever blisters? As for the genital ones, they start off as itching, raised red lumps, become blisters filled with fluid over a few days, become very painful open sores which then heal up. Whole process can take 2-3 weeks. If it's your first outbreak, it's usually the worst. It is recommended that you get off to the doctor in the fluid filled blister stage because they can draw some fluid from one and test it to confirm which herpes virus strain it is that you have. People think that the ones you get around the mouth are one type and the genital one is different but you can get either type both places through oral sex for example. If uncomfortable at all in the genital area or have any kind of sore there, then you should get it checked as soon as possible.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Cold hands can be a symptom of many things, like Raynaud's Disease, but herpes is not one of the things you need to be concerned about. At least not from that symptom.
