I believe someday there will be a cure for it. They came out with a new vaccine called Gardasil for HPV not too long ago, so they are definitely moving in the right direction!

Unfortunatly, HPV (and also genital herpes) are STDs that can be passed by DIRECT skin to skin contact. Condoms DO help prevent the spread of HPV, but since it can also be passed by DIRECT skin to skin contact even with condom use it can still be passed. Condoms are not 100% effective in preventing any STDs though. If a person is going to have sex there is always going to be a chance they will contract a STD if the other person has one, regardless if a condom is used or not.

Also, your HPV may go away with time, so don't give up all hope. For most women HPV goes away on its own. A woman's body is basically able to "fight off" the virus. It's not really considered a "cure" though because it doesn't use medication or treatment.

And, HPV is EXTREMELY common. It's estimated about 75 - 80% of the WORLD will have it at some point in their life. You are definitely not alone in this!

HPV like the common cold, HIV, herpes, and chicken pox are all viruses. there is no "cure" for any in the near future. but, there is plenty of info to not only reduce one's risk of them, but preventitive measures to ensure that one can decrease the likelihood of catching them.
knowledge is power and condoms are the best barrier to all forms of STDs.
