Sounds like a happy meal from Chick-A-Dilly. Wouldn't call it "elegant".
Have your searched some cookbooks for something more special or is this for 2 cousins getting married in Arkansas.
There are several very easy things to make that look elegant, serve very well and make a great presentation.

I have to agree that the menu doesn't sound all that elegant - it's more like comfort food. If that's the food you like, by all means serve it!
If you really want these elements, I'd suggest a different twist.....
Tiny mushroom quiche or mushroom tarte tatin (can be served as passed or plated hors d'oeuvre)
French-style green beans (haricots verts) sauteed with slivered almonds
Corn and red pepper souffle
Roasted new potatoes with garlic and rosemary
Roasted bacon-wrapped chicken breasts stuffed with goat cheese and chopped parsley
Fresh fruit salad

I have to agree with Pat C. on this one. Its a great menu if you want to kick off your shoes and chow down, but you really need to dress it up a bit. Here are some ideas using your own foods plus a few:
1. Grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon (appetizers)
2. Shu Mai (appetizers)
3. Vege springrolls (appetizer)
4. Chicken breasts stuffed with feta cheese and artichoke hearts.
5. Rice pilaf with almonds
6. Baby lettuce salad with mandarin oranges, roasted cashews, and a dijon vinegrette
7. Mini cupcakes, brownies, cookies for after dinner and before the cake is cut.
Have fun!

Yeah - You kinda lost the elegant part when you mentioned Chicken tenders & corn....
Sounds like maybe youre on a buget - you might be surprised at how inexpensive some caterers might be if you dont go too fancy... Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I'm sorry but your menu is more 'down home comfort food' , It is not elegant. A stuffed chicken breast, roasted red potatoes and asparagus in garlic butter is an elegant menu. You should also start with a salad...maybe a baby spinach, with walnut and orange salad with a special dressing. Your menu also lacks a dessert,

all people incredibly worth a grain of salt interior the kitchen, does not use on the spot mashed potatoes, in the event that they want solid style. they could be speedy and ordinary to make, however the style is incredibly damaging. regardless of butter on them. continuously use a skinny skinned potatoe, like a clean potatoe, or the white ones. Russetts are solid for baking, yet it quite is approximately it. they have thick skins and bland style. The pink or new potatoes have a distinctive style which would be utilized on maximum of dishes. including potato salad, mashed or garlic potatoes, fried potatoes, and potato soup/clam chowder. you many times commence with uncooked potatoes boiled after reducing, til soft and then buttered and mashed with extra butter and milk. by no skill water. some human beings upload salt and pepper while mashing for suitable style.

You might also want to serve a salad and a pudding of some sort for dessert.

This is a good menu, I would maybe include a vegetarian entree too unless you're sure you don't have any picky eaters.
