Became addicted whilst in Mexico, but cannot find it anywhere here.

I've found one online shop but I would have to buy a whole crate or the postage is too much!

just make it yourself.. it's very easy. all you need is a blender, tomatillos, onions, garlic, cilantro(coriander) and salt. this is my mothers recipe and it's pretty much done 'to taste' she never measures anything. so you can try and experiment.. Don't forget... to remove the husks and rinse the tomatillos!

*Boil tomatillos and jalapenos or serrano chiles, in some water, until they are soft (not too soft.)
*In blender, put some of the hot boiled water to blend with tomatillos and chiles. Also, add a small piece of garlic.
*After blending those ingredients... add some onion and cilantro, blend again for a short time. Add salt to taste

I don't know where you can buy it, but it is fairly easy to make. You can either make it with green chilis or with tomatillos. I'm sure if you search online you can find good recipes. Personally, I use cookbooks by Rick Bayless for great Mexican recipes.

It IS yummy, isn't it !?

You might check out some of these links to see if you can find it:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLC,GGLC:1969-53,GGLC:en&q=%22salsa+verde%22+UK

But you can also make it yourself, fresh:

I cooked some chunks of pork the other night just a little while in some fresh verde salsa I'd gotten in the deli section of my grocery store, and it was *really* tasty... I would assume that the recipes for fresh salsa are similar, but I can certainly vouch for the Casa Sanchez brand!

You don't need to buy it. Make it at home.
