Definitely. Using protection, like condoms, helps prevent the spread of STDs and also helps prevent pregnancy. Of course they are not 100% effective, but they are the best thing to use in the prevention of STDs (other than abstinence).

You would hate to end up with an incurable or deadly STD, or even a baby right?

Of course you should use protection, just because there are a few things that you can still get using protection, it doesn't mean you should abandon using any - because there are so many more that it can prevent.
Not just STD's/STI's but pregnancy, it would be best to use a combination, such as condoms and the pill, and there are other things too - such as spermicides that can be used as added protection
Respect yourself and your body, practice safe sex always.

of course you should use protection. There are all kinds of things you could catch I have had so many young patients in the past 6 years that have contracted STd's on their first sexual experience. Use a condom and even a condom does not protect against HPV.

No don't worry about it. At the same time take a rope put it around your neck and JUMP. If you need to ask you do not need to be having sex. Don't these people read or watch the news.

It is very easy to get herpes if your partner has had it, even with the use of condoms. I know, I got it.
