So far there is no cure for herpes.

There are medications out there to help with outbreaks and help suppress the virus though.

Some medications include:
acyclovir (Zovirax)
famciclovir (Famvir)
valacyclovir (Valtrex)

There are also over the counter medications for cold sores such as Abreva.

Yes, it is disappointing that there is no cure. So many people have it. I have had it for 20 years. I have tried prescription medications and they didn't work well for me. I have found the best relief from an amino acid called L-lysine. If I feel any itch, twinge or pain I immediatly take 4000mg twice a day. Usually goes away in 2 days. You can spread herpes even if you don't have a lesion. You can spread herpes even if you use a condom. There is no cure. You can get herpes on your mouth if you have oral sex. You can get it in your eyes and be blind. I'm a nurse and have seen all of these.

I got identified with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about five years back, while I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I know loads of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/B7Zdw everything changed.

Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.
