21 - you can work IN a bar and take orders, but only someone over twenty one can hand the patron the alcohol. At our local bar, however, a girl said someone thought she was 17 and when I asked her how old she was, she said she was 19 and she was behind the bar serving everyone, but I don't think that was legal.
