Cho Seung-Hui, "The Shooter" a 23-year-old senior at Virginia Tech.
It is not yet been revealed whether he was even taking drugs, Just reportedly! It has been reported in the media he was possibly on ainti-depressants.
CBS News has reported that Cho Seung-Hui, the Virginia Tech student who went on a shooting spree that left 33 dead, including himself, was possibly taking an antidepressant and had been referred to the student counseling service because his work in a creative writing class was "disturbing".
BLACKSBURG, Virginia (CNN) -- Cho Seung-Hui was referred to a mental health facility in 2005 after officers responded to accusations he was suicidal and stalked female students.

I doubt if it makes any important difference what medication he was taking. There are probably millions of people in the US taking medication for depression or other mental illness; the vast majority of these people are not violent.

if he was taking anything it will come out in the toxicology report which takes a couple of weeks.
