If you are scared to ask your parents you can always go to a Planned Parenthood other any other local STD clinic.

They can provide STD testing, birth control options and many other services to under aged people.

I went there for birth control when I was 16 and 17 because I was scared to tell my parents.

Good luck to you!

Go to a free-clinic, with a book - it'll take a while. You may want to leave a fake name and social security number. As you are underaged, the doctor (it is my understanding) not only has no obligation to hide this test from your parents, but has a duty to report it.

So give your real first name, a misspelling of your last name, your friend's address, your real birthdate but a birthYEAR that makes you 18, and your social security number backwards - in case you have to call in and verify your ID to them to get the results. And don't do just HIV - do them ALL while you're there. And save the papers - some girls like to ask for the paperwork before they...you know.

You dan't have to tell your parents. Make up a reason to see your doctor. Nerve pain, stomach pain, constant headache... When you get there ask the MD about the test and how you should talk to your parent. You can also go to the planned parenthood nearest to you and have the test done there. You can go at any age. You will have to pay though.

If you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents etc. you can go to your local planned parenthood center or health clinic, and they will take good care of you.

You don't need a parent to go to a doctor.
Drive your self if you can. Other wise, get someone to.
Good Luck.
