So I bought a whole chicken for the first time and used the parts I knew (breast, drumsticks) to make jerk chicken. But now I'm at a loss...I have 2 wings and some other parts on the bone of unknown origin...any ideas?

Bake what you have left with a little S&P, 350 for 45mins to an hour, let cool, strip what's let of the meat, chicken garvy, the meat, a handfull of frozen mixed veggies to a pot, cook it up, a can of premade biscuits baked, Spread biscuits on the plate top with the chcicken mixture and you have Chicken-Biscuits and Gravy

Place a steamer insert on the bottom of a pot. Put all the chicken parts (including bones) on top of it with some quartered onion, two garlic cloves, 2 roughly chopped celery sticks, 2 roughly chopped carrots, 1 bay leaf, and a few sprigs of rosemary. Add 3-4 quarts water. Cover and bring to a boil. Let boil uncovered for 30-40 minutes. Remove the steamer insert with tongs (it gets rid of all the chicken and veggies easily). Let the leftover liquid simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and voila, chicken stock!

Bake what you have left at 350 until it's done through, time will vary based upon just how much is left to the chicken.

Let it cool, pull from the bone, discard any skin, chop up the meat. Mix it with some mayo or sour cream, chopped apples, salt, pepper, diced celery, and a bit of parsley. Amounts you should use again depend upon how much chicken there is, just start with a bit and add more as you deem necessary. Have it with crackers or just on its own. Nobody will care if it's made of weird chicken parts.

Bake the remainder of the chicken and pull the rest of the meat off of the bones and make either a chicken broccoli casserole, chicken salad sandwich or a barbecue chicken sandwich. Here are the recipes for each:

Chicken Broccoli casserole:
Layer the pulled chicken with frozen broccoli, Swiss cheese, condensed cheddar broccoli soup, and bread crumbs in a baking dish. Put it in the over at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Chicken Salad Sandwich:
Mix the pulled chicken with mayo, diced eggs, salt, pepper, and green pepper. Put between two pieces of bread and enjoy!

Barbecue Chicken Sandwich:
Mix the pulled chicken with your favorite barbecue sauce and let in marinate for an hour. Put between two slices of bread and enjoy!

Take the whole carcus, bones, wings everything and put in a pot, cover with cold water. Put in alittle salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then simmer for an hour. Cool and debone chichen and the parts that are left. Pour through a small holed strainer and what you have now is chichen stock. Put in a container to be used at a later date to make your rice, instead of water (2 cups) you have chichen stock, makes rice so much more flavorable.

Make some dumplings or buy some egg noodles or rice to put with the cooked chicken after taking it off the bones and also use the broth. You could make a chicken pie with carrots-peas celery and onion.

I have been cutting up whole chickens instead of buying 'parts' for a while now...you get to use up the whole chicken that way, and it goes alot further. I just put the parts on the bbq with some bbq sauce...your favourite...and enjoy!

Boil all the parts, with water. Then you have just made chicken broth! You can make chicken noodle soup by just adding carrots, celery, noodles, and the other chicken parts. Enjoy!
