Genital warts can be treated and can physically go away, but you will still have the virus that causes them - HPV.
There is no cure for HPV, but many women are able to get rid of it all on their own. Their bodies are basically able to "fight" off the virus. Some people will never get rid of the virus though, and will have it the rest of their life.
And, once the warts are treated, they can always come back and the person will have to have them treated again.

Only a doctor can diagnose you, specifically a dermatologist, go see one, they can tell you just by looking at them. The warts can be removed, either by laser, freezing with liquid nitrogen, or topical medicine such as Aldara, or a combination of treatments, they're much easier removed from a male than a female. But understand there is no cure for the virus that causes the warts (HPV), but there is a vaccine out now and it's still being investigated to see if it can cure some strains of HPV. There's also some natural products available, one's called "warts no more", don't know if it works but the same company produces a herpes product called "H-Balm" and it does work.

Hi there,
Genital warts caused by the most common types of HPV often go away on their own without treatment. After you are diagnosed, if you do not have symptoms or cosmetic concerns, you may observe your condition without using treatment. This is called watchful waiting.
Experts sometimes differ on how to treat the condition because genital warts often go away without treatment and because treatment does not eliminate the HPV infection.
Treatment will depend on:
The number of warts and their size and location.
Any problems the warts are causing.
The side effects and costs of treatment.
Your health professional's skill in treating warts.
Your preferences.
Even if you are treated to remove visible warts or your warts go away without treatment, the HPV infection is not cured; it remains in your body's cells.
Even with treatment for genital warts, you still may be able to spread the infection. Condoms may help reduce the risk of spreading the infection, but they do not fully protect against genital contact.
Cheers.

Although genital warts can be treated with medications and surgery, they are a serious health concern. The virus that causes them — the human papillomavirus (HPV) — has been associated with cervical cancer. It has also been linked with other types of genital cancers, such as cancer of the penis.
It's treatable. Go seek help immediately.
