mention my weight. When I asked JustAnswers experts about a new kicboxing routine I enjoy they said it's ok unless you have blood pressure or cholesterol issues. So if Dr.'s aren't medicating me or aren't concerned with my weight why is cholesterol and issue? P.S. Most people in Philly do the pizza and cheesteak diet like I do and for years they've had no problems. So what gives??

Because cholesterol being responsible for heart disease is a flawed hypothesis.

The only food-source cholesterol you want to avoid is oxidizied cholesterol. Otherwise there is no such things as 'good' or 'bad' cholesterol.

Avoid DRIED or POWDERED eggs or milk. Otherwise milk and eggs are just fine. Whole milks is better than non-fat or reduced fat milk because it's closer to the real thing.

You can read about why the whole cholesterol-is-bad idea is non-sense in many locations. But several that I recommed are easy to understand follow.

The Oiling of America [1]

This is a long but easy to understand (it's written for the average person) paper by one of the leading scientists who has helped the world see the dangers of transfatty acids. She also dispells the myths of saturated fat and cholesterol being bad for you.

If you don't push the issue with your doctors why should they go out of their way to do anything? YOU are primarily responsible for your own health, not the doctors. If you really want good health and good healthcare, you have to assert yourself and go after it.....btw, the pizza and cheesesteak thing is responsible for Philidelphia having one of the hightest incidences of heartattack in the country.
