im only 14 and about 3 months ago my firend was messing around and stabbed me with a compass, i didn't bleed it just cut the skin, is there any risk of hiv if he did stab some one else, i live in UK btw, would anyone actually have hiv in our school anyway

yes, HIV is a bloodborn disease...blood to blood
so if the compas had blood on it from an infected person, you could get it
and yes, there could be lots of people at your school infected
besides, there are other blood born diseases that are really bad like Hepatitis
if you are worried, tell your parents and get checked...just a blood test is all it takes to know

no because once the virus hits air, it dies, it has to be fluid to fluid, blood, etc. dont worry
