hiv can be transmitted through the mouth if there is a tear in the oral mucosa or if you have problems with your gums, the virus doesn't live very long outside of the body because it is very fragile, if the virus is dead it can't hurt you,

HIV can be transmitted through any membrane in the body. Special parts, eye, mouth, nose and ear... Yes I said nose... and believe me it happens. The types of bodily fluids that carry the HIV virus from the carrier to the newly infected are special man and woman juice, if you don't know what they are I am not going to tell you, blood, sometimes saliva, which in some cases have trace amounts of blood in it (this comes from mouth sores which people with AIDS commonly get).

The virus can live in the fluid outside the body for a short period of time, probably a couple of days. As long as the fluid has cells to attack it will live on beyond the grave.

Viruses do not really die, because they are not really alive. They can lay dormant for a long time. The original strain of HIV was thought to have been in spores in a cave in Africa for hundreds of years.

Have you asked anyone you know this question? Cause if you do be sure to think it out a little more clearly, it is very specific yet still convoluted. If you have a very specific case to ask about, then you should ask your health teacher. A face to face conversation would be a good idea on this one.

Retroviruses in general are transmitted vertically. Contrary to popular belief, transmission of HIV has NEVER been demonstrated, even sexually. I urge you to contact the NIH and CDC and beg them for the references. Even if they wanted to give them to you, they can not. Such research does not exist.
