Myth: Fish and curd should not be consumed together as they cause stomach cramps or white patches on the skin.
Fact: There is no scientific basis for this belief. In fact, in most continental cuisines, meat and fish products are either marinated or cooked in milk and/or milk products. The white patches could be due to any vitamin deficiency or skin pigmentation. .

I always believed it was a myth that if i ate fish and curd it would cause vitiligo considering so many dishes are made with milk and curds, Well I have vitiligo and am on Homeopathy treatment which has asked me not to eat fish and curds at a time. So dont know whether vitiligo was caused because of other reasons or because I ate fish and curd at a time (though dint eat a lot of it). Hope havent caused more confusion.

Fish and milk can be eaten at the same time. As far as the Jews go, the reason they don't is a very long explination. They were forbidden to eat any meat obtained from a mammal in their mother's milk. The Rabbis were afraid of how it would look if they did eat fish cooked in milk, that someone might assume that they had - so they don't. It is one of the major problems of trying to eat a kosher diet. Rules out a whole lot of foods, including some of my favorites Mexican.

Both can be cooked in combination, but curd should be strictly avoided after eating fish. Its believed that it causes skin discoloration and white patches.
Some say its myth but on the other hand no research has been done against this myth. So why not go with myth till the fact is proved.

Curd and fish are eaten together. There are many recipes that include the two ingrdients.
Milk and fish are not eaten together, as some Indians seem to believe it causes skin discoloration.
Western nutritionists do not believe there is any inter-action as such.
Some Jews do not eat milk and fish together.

No it is not unhealthy. It's called "bulking" in bodybuilding. Just try as much as possible to eat healthy, because the quantity of foods taken when they are clean or healthy, literally can't do you any damage. And workout, so all the foods fill your muscles.

Fish with milk is incompatible. Both fish and milk of them have sweet taste, but due to the contradiction in their potency (fish is hot and milk is cold) they vitiate the blood and obstruct the channels of circulation.
